Choose your edition

Each edition includes its one listed HDR file. Select 8K for a smaller download or 16K for more source-image detail; these are resolution editions of this background, not two different environments.

See how it looks

The gallery presents artistic examples, material and lighting tests, alternate views and a source-image overview. Compare framing and surface response, then add your own subject, camera and lights.

What is included

One static Radiance HDR image in the selected edition. Both images are 16:9. Use a framed image backdrop or inspect projection and image wrap in an image-based World setup; seamless 360° coverage is not promised.

Demonstration objects, complete illustration scenes, animation and editable nebula shader source are not included. Adjust framing, rotation, exposure and World strength in your own scene.

Blender compatibility

HDR image workflows are available in Blender 2.8 and later with Cycles or Eevee. Both exact supplied files were decoded in Blender 5.2.3 LTS. Make a small preview with your chosen projection and lighting.
