DOCUMENTATION
This product includes written and visual documentation covering installation, basic usage and implementation of the included Christmas & Winter Ornament assets.
ZBRUSH INSTALLATION
1. Extract the downloaded files.
2. Locate the supplied ZBrush IMM Curve Brush files.
3. Load or install the brushes in ZBrush.
4. Select the desired ornament brush.
5. Draw a curve along the surface or area where you want to place the decoration.
BASIC IMM CURVE WORKFLOW
The ornament geometry automatically repeats along the curve.
After drawing the ornament you can adjust:
• Curve shape
• Position
• Scale
• Brush size
• Placement
• Orientation
This allows the same ornament to be adapted to different characters, props and environments.
The brushes can be used for garlands, decorative borders, ribbons, costume details, winter props and other repeating festive elements.
BLENDER WORKFLOW
Editable source geometry is also supplied for Blender workflows.
The basic workflow is:
1. Open or import the supplied geometry.
2. Select the ornament mesh you want to use.
3. Edit or scale the mesh if required.
4. Use the geometry directly or combine it with Blender curves and modifiers.
5. Adjust the curve to fit your character, prop or environment.
6. Modify or subdivide the resulting geometry depending on your project requirements.
The source meshes can also be used as starting points for creating custom ornament variations.
SUBDIVISION
The supplied base geometry is subdivision-friendly.
Keep the original low-resolution geometry while editing whenever possible and add subdivision only when additional smoothness or detail is required.
