Is the addon/extension not working for you?

Ok let's run through some steps and make sure nothing was missed.
Some of the images are from previous versions, but the steps are the same!

First of all lets install it manually.

Make sure you do NOT unzip the file, Blender needs it as just the single ZIP file.

Open Blender Preferences:

1. Click on the Get Extensions Tab.

2. Click the dropdown in the top right.

3. Click Install from Disk.

The Blender file manager will open.

Navigate to where you downloaded the file.

1. Select the file.

2. Check Enable on Install.

3. Click Install From Disk.

Next, let's check the Add-on is installed and on.

Back in the preferences window:

1. Click the Add-ons Tab.

2. Check that the Add Bloom Add-on is there, and the check box is checked.

Finally you can save your preferences.

Back in Blender, look at the render tab in the properties window:

1. Click on the Render Properties.

2. Scroll Down- as it probably wont be at the top.

1. You should see the Bloom options.

2. You can rearrange the order and position it higher using these 8 dots, by clicking and dragging here.
