  Finally, I've added a bit of post processing glow in video-editing software, although you can use the Blender Compositor to add some glow directly to the raw render as well!

  i can only write about the free pack: i downloaded it, unzipped it and tried to add it into Blender -> error: not a vdb file. I am on a Mac with newest Blender version 5.0 if that matters. The hint of the author: download it again didn't help at all and sounds for me not very helpful.

  I'm still troubleshooting for you so I'm not sure why you already decided to give this one star only. First off, you say you're using Blender 5.0 here, you didn't say that in your private message. I just tried it in Blender 5.0 alpha on Windows and it works fine. I can not test it on Mac since I don't have one.

  Second of all, this pack has over 7500 downloads at the point of writing and had 5 star reviews only, you're the first to complain about them not working after 7500 downloads, so statistically it's probably you. But if any other Mac users can not open these files please let me know.

  But they all work on Windows, so it's obviously not the VDB files that are the problem.
