Superb. I use this for everything and it has completley improved my workflow. I barely even set up rigs anymore, I just add temp controls to a simple skeleton where and when I need them. Please continue maintaining this!

This is the closest thing I found to the Overrig Script plugin for Maya
This is a genuine game changer for someone like me who discovered Space Switching workflow through Maya

    I absolutely love this.

One thing I'd love to see included in the future would be some sort of "sword rig" kind of operator where empties are placed at the end of a stick and then they're used to control the direction of said stick.
Combined with the motion path operator, this would be very powerful

Thanks for the feedback. There is already something like the sword rig. In WorldSpace ctrls switch type to track target, and then use the axis and distance offset. Can include also twist using the rotation of the controller.
It is indeed useful together with the editable motion path for working on cleanup and refining the curves.
There is more info about it in the documentation.

I'm liking this a lot so far! I haven't found anything to fill the void of animBot's temp controls in Maya, and this is pretty close. I do wish there was functionality to quickly put a bone in another bone's space as a sort of "temp constraints" (similar to AnimBot's temp control relative space button, or ebworldspace A->B button). For example, I wish I could select the hand IK bone, and shift select the head bone, press "relative space" and it would create a temporary control on the hand IK that lives in the head space if I wanted to essentially parent constrain it to the head. Kinda hard to explain but I feel like the functionality is ALMOST there with the "Temp FK Controls" but it seems like that unfortunately requires a worldspace temp control for both controls. Either way, this is pretty great and gives me features that I was missing in Blender!

      Hi, thanks for the feedback.
You can achieve this by creating two world space ctrls, one for the hand and one the head, select them both with the head being the active, and then use link temp chains.
      http://dancingshapes.gitlab.io/animtoolbox-docs/temp-controls/linktempchains/

The other option is maybe to create a Worldspace ctrl on the hand and use the head as the root in the worldspace ctrl settings.

I honestly haven't even messed with anything else yet, but the editable motion paths alone is worth double what this add on costs. Absolutely essential if looking at the graph editor makes your head explode.

It's a very powerful animation plugin that can save you days of work every month. I highly recommend it for anyone who values their time. It's like animBot for Blender.

This is one of the most useful addons that are available for Blender! If you are familiar with space switching you know that setting up the controllers, baking and offsetting has a lot of busywork and clicking around that gets in the way unless you've prepared your own scripts and automatation tools. But the way Tal has thought about this addon makes the process incredibly quick, easy and convenient so you only have to think and focus on animating. He's very quick to respond and he manages to iterate rapidly and quickly fix any bugs that we might find. I used his animation layers addon before and all I can say that his hard work has made Blender a lot more usable for animation in the meantime. We know we are a bit far away from getting everything we would need in vanilla Blender but he has managed to close that gap in a way that I can do almost anything that I can come up with. Thanks again for the hard work and I hope that anyone that's considering getting this addon gets it because it's an amazing tool.

Second best animation addon - behind your animation layers which has saved me so much time and effort! Anyone not already familiar with Animation Layers needs to go buy it now. To be fair, still learning this tool, and am excited already with the features. Looking forward to expanded documentation / tutorials. Well done, and thank you once again!
