"AV: Bisect" is a reimagining of the Bisect tool in Blender. This add-on will make your work much easier and more convenient than it was before.
The standard Bisect tool has several drawbacks: the inability to precisely set the plane, requiring numerous steps to prepare the cut, a narrow scope of application, and a lack of flexibility.
This always been a significant hurdle in my work. That's why I created AV: Bisect — an add-on that offers a more flexible and versatile tool for cutting meshes.
Key features:
- Precise Plane Creation: The plane is generated based on the selected vertex, edge, or face, speeding up preparation.
- 3D Cursor Cutting: Position your cursor and perform a precise cut directly through it.
- Clean Interface: All controls are consolidated in a single panel, keeping the focus on your model.
Designed for:
3D artists and modelers who value precision and efficiency, especially in hard-surface workflows.
The tool saves time on every operation. On a project scale, this translates to a noticeable increase in productivity.
I developed this tool for my own workflow, but I hope you find it useful as well.
