▸ Q: Does AV: ReBevel work on triangulated meshes, or only on quads?
A: Both. AV: ReBevel rebuilds the bevel strip inside the shared polygon, so quad, triangle, and n-gon transitions are all supported — including sections with different segment counts (mixed-resolution bevels).
One caveat on triangulated meshes: Blender's Edge Ring selection (Ctrl+Alt+LMB) does not continue through triangles, so you need to select the cross-section edges manually in edge mode.
Faces outside the bevel band are never touched, and internal diagonals left by triangulation are cleaned up per strip before the new segments are inserted. If the topology can't be rebuilt safely (branched bands, closed loops, missing cross sections), the operation is rejected and the original mesh is restored.
