I work in a studio using Perforce/SVN. What happens if my backup files are "Read-Only"?
You are 100% safe! We built a dedicated detection system for version control users. If the add-on encounters a locked or read-only file during its auto-cleanup rotation, it will strictly bypass it and display a friendly UI warning instead of causing a system error or crashing Blender.
Will saving so many versions fill up my entire hard drive?
No, that's exactly the problem this add-on solves! Thanks to the Auto-Cleanup feature, the system will only keep a set limit of recent iterative backups (default is 50 per scene). Older files are automatically deleted to keep your disk space perfectly optimized, while safely preserving your Daily Archives.
Will this add-on slow down Blender or interrupt my workflow?
Not at all! The add-on is designed to be completely invisible. It piggybacks on your native Ctrl+S saves and runs its independent auto-save timer silently in the background. It also uses Activity Detection – meaning it won't save identical copies if you step away from your desk or haven't made any changes to your scene.
