  Base meshes are okay. Of various quality, I assume uploaded by different artists.

  My biggest issues is with the creators responses to concerns about missing files. I asked about some missing textures on the parrot model (I didnt expect them to be there as this is a basemesh pack, but it came up pink in material preview) and the guy responding didnt know anything about what I was talking about. He kept sending me screenshots in solid view along with a new file, but when i downloaded that file myself and swapped to solid preview or rendered view, it was pink there as well. If this is an oversight left over from a different project thats fine, but I expected the customer service rep to have the most basic blender/3D knowledge.

  Because of this, I cannot recommend this product because I cant verify the quality, and the reps of this company dont know how anything works so they cant help you if you run into problems. Get this in a bundle if anything, do NOT pay 250 for it.

  I guess this comment came directly from our competition. To put all of this into context:

  1) This customer purchased the pack during the big Humble Bundle sale, paying a total of around 2 USD for all 155 base meshes.
  2) He found 1 mesh that had a minor issue ("pink textures") because the mesh was derived from a textured model.
  2) He started with a message like this: "Are you familiar with blender? I dont know thats why im asking." This gives the impression that he doesn't know Blender at all.
  3) I replied with instructions on how to remove the "pink textures" and also sent him the model without them.
  4) This was one of his last replies: "Its a blender fundamentals. You should know the fundamentals bro lol."

  There were thousands of sales of this pack during this Humble Bundle event, and he was the only one who complained. I hope this provides enough context.

  Most of the base meshes are indeed very basic. The face rigs are quite nice, but all this is not worth the money. You can get better base meshes (even rigged) for free.

  Thank you for your opinion. I definitely wouldn't agree with you.
  While some base meshes are basic (like most are), a large number of base meshes are animated and rigged. And some even contain sound effects synchronized with the animations (there is nothing else like that on the market).
