Getting started

Download modular_male_base.blend and modular_female_base.blend. Open the body you want to work with in Blender and save a separate copy for your project.

Customize the body

Use the labeled body controls beside the mannequin to adjust its proportions. Move one slider at a time to see the effect. Body-type shape keys provide different builds; other proportion controls also use the rig and drivers. The female setup includes a breast control.

Create a pose

Select the rig and use Pose Mode to move its controls. The supplied rigs are based on Rigify and are ready to use without installing an additional plugin. Explore a pose, then adjust the body sliders to compare proportions.

Modeling and sculpting

Work from a duplicate of your customized body so you can return to the original rigged base. Preserve the original files when applying modifiers or making changes to topology.

Exporting

The download contains Blender files. Export your customized character to FBX, glTF/GLB or OBJ as needed. Exported rig and shape-key support depends on your settings and the receiving application. Bone-driven proportion changes must be baked separately if you need them as morph targets. OBJ stores the resulting mesh, not the Blender rig or sliders.
