The BT-7 was the last of the Soviet "cavalry tanks," produced between 1935 and 1940 with over 5,700 units built. Powered by a 450 hp Mikulin M-17T engine and featuring Christie suspension, it reached speeds of up to 86 km/h on roads and 50 km/h off-road. Armed with a 45 mm 20-K gun and a DT machine gun, it had sloped armor ranging from 6 to 20 mm. Though fast and agile, it was vulnerable and eventually replaced by the T-34.
This model accurately represents the BT-7M variant, based on original Soviet technical drawings, museum references, and 3D scans. It is ideal for rendering and suitable for 3D printing at scales up to 1:6.
