Recommended Recommended Workflow
  1. Activate the addon & use default values.
  2. Set up your lighting / materials first.
    Your lighting and materials have a far greater impact on the look of the glare than the glare settings itself.
  3. Then set desired strength using Global Power.
  4. Finally tweak the modules using the individual power controls.

Render Pass Transparent Background & Control in Post?

Use the Render Pass feature to automatically set up a transparent pass. This allows you to make adjustments and even add backgrounds in your favorite post-processing apps (like After Effects, DaVinci, or Photoshop).
Follow the steps on the addon to prepare your render.
If there are no warnings, it’s ready to go.
