This add-on is made to help you to add references in the 3D view as easily as possible! You can add Simple image references in the 3D view, camera references to fit your design, orthographic references to create your character, and set a reference view with all the references of the project or asset in it.

IMAGE REFERENCES Add images in the 3D view and manage them with groups and stored views. Perfect to work on an asset and only see the desired references for each part of this asset. CAMERA REFERENCES Add Image references to a camera and edit the focal length to fit the reference. You can add several cameras to fit different parts of your asset ORTHOGRAPHIC REFERENCES Add image references to the orthographic views (front, left, top, etc). You can add more than one reference per direction REFERENCE VIEW Add all your image references to the same place, and manage them with collections. From the Reference view, you can set the selected images as images, camera, and orthographic references. This view is the central place to manage your scene.

You can add videos in the camera, ortho references, and the Tender view since they use Empties. This is not possible with the Image Reference tool, this is not supported in Blender.
