  one of my favorite and most used addons. super solid and well-supported. it's a must have for proper sized good looking textures. really appreciate the dev responsiveness and how polished this addon continues to be. highly recommend!

  I've been using blender for short films for years now and this is honestly the biggest time saving add-on of them all. We purchased a very pricey Galleon ship for a film, I'm using a Intel i9 Ultra/Nvidia Geforce RTX 5080 and just this 1 model was slowing down our scenes. The ship was 4GB, 8K textures, 8+ million poly. After using this add-on it reduced the file size to 287mb and the quality difference is barely noticeable. With both ships next to each other up-close, the entire team couldn't decide which was the original. If I could give this 10 stars I would!

  It does what it says on the box. I had a model and the textures were too huge and crashing Eevee, this sorted it out literally in a click! Bit worried about whether it would be out of date with 4.2, no problems.

  Yup! It's so great. But A bit difficult to use for the first time. I wish there was a screenshot or youtube. In contrast to the not very friendly manual, it is a fairly powerful Add-on.

  Just discovered this and it's already a life saver. As a concept artist I often have huge files with all kinds of assets with big textures, and that VRAM fills up fast. Convert everything down to 1024 and my scene is back to being responsive.
