Fusion worked; I managed to join the blockout pieces, affecting only the area where the two parts connect. However, there are a few specific requirements for it to work correctly:

    - The pieces' origin points must be set via Object > Set Origin > "Origin to Center of Mass (Volume)"; this needs to be done every time after using Fusion.

    - The pieces must be symmetrical; I need to use a mirror modifier to restore symmetry if necessary, because the "Carve Interior" function doesn't work when using the mirror modifier within Fusion itself.

    - The pieces themselves cannot overlap. To avoid this, I must use a Boolean modifier first, or—if they are independent parts—go into Edit Mode, select connected vertices by pressing L, use Mesh > Separate > By Loose Parts, and then use Fusion to join the piece back together.

    - Order matters; if joining two specific pieces doesn't work, I try joining other pieces first.

The biggest advantage of this approach is that I can use ready-made pieces in the blockout—such as hands and feet—that are essentially finished by the time I reach the sculpting stage. I can take this even further in the future by having a library of ready-made clothing items to combine as needed before finalizing the sculpt.

Hi Marcelo, thank you for your detailed review! I’m super glad you found Fusion useful and that it’s helping with your blockout workflow. It’s really cool to see how you’re using it to combine ready-made pieces before sculpting. Really appreciate you sharing your experience! 🙌

This is exactly the add-on I’ve been waiting for!! And it just so happened to be on sale!!
There was just one thing—I’m using Blender 4.5.10 LTS, so I was worried that the add-on’s requirement for Blender 5.0 or later might be a problem. But to my surprise, today I found out that it’s finally compatible with legacy versions (Blender 3.0–5.2) as well!! This is absolutely amazing! ! I doubt there’s any other add-on out there that offers such thoughtful and thorough support all the way back to older versions. I’m so grateful!! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your products in the future. Please keep up the great work.

Thanks Hiroshi! I'm really happy to hear that. The legacy version support was added specifically for situations like yours, so it's great to know it made a difference. I truly appreciate the kind words and your support, and I hope you enjoy using Fusion. Thanks again for taking the time to leave such a detailed review!

Your program DOES NOT load in Mac version of blender 5.0.0.
Report: Error Add-on not loaded: "bl_ext.user_default.fusion-1.0.0", cause: extension repository "user_default.fusion-1.0" doesn't exist

I can only change the STARS if I can get the add-on to work.

      Hi Yan,
Thank you for reporting this. The issue was caused by the previous build not being packaged correctly for macOS/Linux Blender Extensions.
I have uploaded a fixed build to your library and updated the release files. Please try the new version and let me know if you run into any further issues.

      Thanks for your patience.

      Hi Aleksej,

Sorry to hear you're running into this issue, and thanks for the feedback. Would it be possible for you to share a sample of the scanned mesh you're working with via my inbox? It would help me reproduce and fix the issue you're seeing and improve the extension's algorithm.

      Thanks,
      Egret
