Grid Placement 2.0 is a simple Blender add-on that adds an extra option to the object menu: Grid Placement.

Click it and every selected object, armature or empty will be placed into a tidy grid. You can choose the distance they are placed apart and how many objects you want in a row. Perfect for kitbashers and tidy people.
