Why did my manually edited hair curves reset or disappear?

If you change the property control values (such as Density, Length, etc.) in the panel after manually sculpting or editing the hair curves, the algorithm will recalculate and respawn the strands from scratch, wiping out your custom edits. To prevent accidental resets, always activate the "Lock" feature before entering Sculpt Mode to protect your custom grooming data
