  The plugin is good; the lack of documentation itself makes it lose a star, but it doesn't disappoint. In moments I made eyelashes and eyebrows. Regarding hair, I used the method of creating the geometries, then passing them to curves and then hair, then I used geometry nodes. You should pay attention to the video "Amazing!! Make ANY HAIR STYLE in Blender Geometry Nodes" where he teaches about geometry nodes. Following what he shows and learning on your own by being a little studious, there's no way to go wrong.

  After appending the file correctly and unpacking it will just give me a geometry node group with ** Hair Painter All Nodes ** and there are no presets that unpacked with the file this is purely user error but this addon is still great! Just a huge learning curve for the average blender newbie :p

  Videos on youtube dont work as documentation, the nodes and process are different from the last update, which is not working with Blender 5 for me, frustrating experience for a paid addon. It used to go well but now its unusable without documentation.

  If this was a free plugin, the complete lack of current documentation would be understandable. It's not though, it's $40 and the setup process is not like the video. Might it work if you're willing to troubleshoot for an hour an have extensive node knowledge? Maybe. Couldn't tell you. I bought a product to avoid that and wound up in the same spot.

  Before buying check for updated documentation.

  Ich schließe mich dem Urteil von Luis an, da Tool hält nicht im Ansatz was es verspricht, ist alles andere als einfach und keinerlei Hilfe, ich mich da mit dem Blender eigenen mitteln besser klar als mit dem Tool, ich ärgere mich da Geld für bezahlt zu haben, kann nur sagen überlegt es euch gut.

  "Mesh to Hair" is advertised as a one click solution. It is not, blatant false advertising, you have to do several roundabout things to get it to even try to work. And even worse is the nodes used in the linked YouTube tutorials (the addon's only form of documentation) have changed in the latest version, the inputs are different, so you cannot even follow along for the "Mesh to Hair" feature. I got lured, and there's no documentation to get you unstuck.
