Technical Note

The original full-size HDRIs were captured at 20K resolution or higher, but based on extensive artist feedback, 8K is the most-used and most practical resolution for everyday production work. It delivers excellent lighting quality, sharp reflections, and realistic shadows — while keeping workflow performance smooth.

To make the entire collection downloadable as a single product, all HDRIs were carefully downscaled to 8K, preserving full dynamic range and overall sharpness. This also significantly speeds up downloading and storage.

The pack uses the 32-bit .hdr format, chosen for its universal compatibility with nearly all render engines. Thanks to this efficient format, the whole pack is only 38.27 GB, delivered as 10 multipart ZIP archives for easy downloading.
