Motion Cast
In this animation pack, we imagined the type of animation that would
be seen in the background of a supermarket. You'll find animations of
customers strolling around the supermarket aisles, interacting with
them or not. We've also made animations of supermarket staff at the
checkout. With the 1.5 LC (for Life Capture) update, we wanted to
take the concept even further by creating our motion capture directly
in a real shop!
With this new update, the pack contains a total
of 39 animations, 35 of which are long animations (+1 bonus animation
used in the promotional video). I'd like to make it clear that we've
mainly done long animations, so that means the character wanders
around freely and you'll probably have to adapt your scenery to make
full use of him. That's also why we've integrated a character
flipping animation and a walking loop, to help you loop the whole
animation simply, if you want to use it for NPC animations in a
shop.
We haven't just added new animations, we've also
taken the time to review all the 1.0 animations to improve them and
add brand new finger animations. All the finger animations are also
motion captured and synchronised with each animation.
All the
animations are captured in motion capture at 30 FPS and retouched
manually. The motion capture was performed by Stéphane Pfeffer, who
has done a lot of theatre work.
Please note that only the
animations are sold, the 3D model is only present for aesthetic and
technical purposes. You won't find any sets or props in the
pack.
