JointLab Early Access Documentation

JointLab is a Blender addon focused on helping creators prepare 3D printable models with tools for joints, connectors, articulated models, separations, and multi-part objects.

This is an Early Access version. Some planned tools are not included yet, such as the color painting tool and the image-to-keychain tool.

Installation

1. Download the JointLab Early Access ZIP file.

2. Open Blender.

3. Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.

4. Click Install.

5. Select the JointLab_Early_Access_v1.0.zip file.

6. Enable the JointLab addon in the add-ons list.

7. After enabling it, the JointLab tools will be available inside Blender.

Current Features

The current Early Access version includes tools focused on:

• Creating joints for articulated 3D printable models

• Creating connectors between parts

• Preparing multi-part 3D printable objects

• Helping organize models for 3D printing workflows

• Speeding up repetitive setup steps inside Blender

Not Included Yet

The following planned tools are not included in this Early Access release:

• Color painting tool

• Image-to-keychain tool

These features are planned for future updates.

JointLab is recommended for creators working on:

• Articulated toys

• Flexi-style models

• Multi-part prints

• Functional printed parts

• 3D printable collectibles

• Digital products for 3D printing marketplaces

Early Access Updates

Early Access buyers will receive future updates, including the final version of JointLab when it becomes available.

The addon is still evolving, so tools may be improved, adjusted, or expanded in future versions.
