This Blender Add-on allows you to place lights at the perfect angle and quickly modify them to achieve professional results in seconds!

All you have to do is press (`) and you have all you need to create the perfect lighting for your scenes in one place.

You can adjust the light intensity.

Choose the light type

Control the color

...and even modify the color temperature!

To make your life even easier, if you select a 3D mesh before creating a light, it will automatically aim the light to this object, so you can fine-tune the light placement and extract the maximum from each pixel of your artwork!

Didn’t like the last light you placed? Just hit delete and add it again.

kLight will memorize your last setting, so you can work seamlessly and with minimum effort.

🛠️ How to Install kLight in Blender

Download and unzip the file you got here (you'll find kLight.py inside).

Open Blender and go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons

Click Install... (top-right) and select the kLight.py file from your computer

Check the box to enable the add-on

Close Preferences — you're done!

Now just press the Accent Grave key (`) in the 3D Viewport to launch kLight.
