  Kimodo installed itself onto the C drive automatically with no option to choose another installation directory. Is there any way to install it to a different drive?

  im working on improvements there, in the new version from github you are able to move the location, but i want to give the possibility to define it from the beginning.
  So yeah, soon :)

  DO NOT INSTALL THIS ADD-ON. Its "Retry Install" can delete your entire Linux home directory!

  My initial setup failed. On the third attempt I accidentally selected my home folder as the install location, clicked "Retry", and the add-on recursively deleted ALL MY DATA: projects, downloads, music, photos, google archives, configs, everything.

  The installer uses `shutil.rmtree(install_dir)` with no guard against $HOME, /home, /, mount points, or arbitrary user-selected paths. No ownership validation, no marker-file requirement, no SAFE confirmation!

  This is catastrophic and unacceptable. A failed plugin install should never be capable of destroying a user’s machine. Use only in a disposable VM/test account if at all.

  Thank you for this report, this is of course unacceptable and i am very sorry this happened to you.
  This issue has been fixed in version 1.5.7, where it will always ask you if you are sure if you want to delete folder XY, and it does not let you delete a system folder that is not associated with the plugin.

  All problematic versions have been removed from super hive due to this issue

  Does not work on the phase of Python installation. Addon couldn`t detect Python 3.14, witch was installed long before addon, nor 3.12 installed several times after, according to all instructions. GPU manufacturer - NVidia. Could be very usefull addon if someday I manage to make it work.

  i am working on a patch where its possible to manually select the python installation if automatic detection is not possible :)
