Installation — Superhive
1. Download dovetail_maker-1.0.1.zip. Do not unzip it. 2. Blender → Edit → Preferences → Extensions → Install from Disk → pick the ZIP. 3. Enable Dovetail Maker. 4. Open the 3D Viewport sidebar (N) → Dovetail tab. 5. Follow QUICK_START.md: seat two parts, select both, cursor on the joint near the entry edge, pick +X or −X, Create.
# Compatibility — Superhive
- Blender 5.2 LTS or newer (tested on 5.2.1 LTS, Windows).
- No other add-ons required. Engine 01 v1.0 is vendored in the package.
- Coexists with other Engine 01 products through stored file metadata.
- Units: type millimetres in any scene (millimetre or metre).
The optional demo .blend is available as a separate product download. Install the add-on ZIP unchanged; open the demo after enabling the add-on.
