- Added a copy button next to Custom Color to copy the active line control's color and custom-color toggle to other selected line controls.
- Fixed Save Defaults so it saves both the custom color and its enabled state.
- Both 1_by_1 and 1-To-N now use the saved custom color settings when creating new lines.
- Increased the custom color maximum from 1 to 100, allowing HDR color values. Values above 1 can also be saved as defaults.
HDR color support does not add a separate emission strength control or custom material assignment. Emission depends on the material setup.
Line Defaults
- Added Reverse, Side Handle, and Mid Handle to saved line defaults.
- Both connection modes now apply these defaults to newly created lines.
- Updated the reset action to restore these settings as well.
View Layers and Selection
- Get_Lines and Get_Ripples now operate only on objects in the active view layer, avoiding selection errors involving objects in other view layers.
- Selection-order tracking now uses the active view layer and preserves order flags on objects outside it.
- Added protection against selection errors after creating connections when generated objects are excluded from the active view layer.
- Fixed selection-order updates skipping objects when multiple consecutive objects were deselected.
Ripple Animation
- Improved animation-curve lookup to read the object's assigned action slot, with a first-slot fallback.
- Improved synchronization of ripple start times with the line control's Animation keyframes.
- Fixed Refresh Ripple Time to support slotted animation actions.
Blender Compatibility
- Added support for Blender 5.2's updated Geometry Nodes modifier input API.
- Updated line and ripple creation, driver paths, parameter panels, and ripple default saving for the new API.
- Retained support for Blender 5.0 and 5.1.
Release Consolidation
- Combines the earlier view-layer and animation fixes with the Blender 5.2 compatibility update in one release.
- Both the add-on and extension manifest now report version 2.0.11.
- Release packages exclude Python cache files and verification scripts.
Supported Blender Versions
Blender 5.0-5.2
Focused background tests passed in Blender 5.0.1, 5.1.2, and 5.2.0, covering both connection modes, drivers, HDR color defaults and copying, ripple timing, panel parameter paths, and view-layer selection behavior. These checks do not constitute exhaustive UI or rendering tests. Future Blender versions have not been verified.
Installation
In Blender, open Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, choose Install from Disk, and select the 2.0.11 ZIP package. Enable the add-on and restart Blender if prompted.
