Rigged Electric Walkie Stacker
Rigged Electric Walkie Stacker 1.0.0
A rigged electric walkie stacker (pedestrian pallet stacker) for Blender renders, warehouse
scenes and keyframed mechanical animation. Real-world scale in metres, English names.
Made and tested in Blender 5.2.2 LTS.
INCLUDED
Electric-Walkie-Stacker-Rigged.blend
the complete stacker with its original procedural materials and the
slider rig (Walkie Stacker_RIG). All resources are inside the file.
The file holds only the stacker: no studio, lights or camera.
FBX/Machines/Electric_Walkie_Stacker_2.9_m.fbx and GLB/Machines/Electric_Walkie_Stacker_2.9_m.glb
the stacker as an armature with rigid parts and three baked animations
(Lift, Drive, Steer; 24 fps), with baked PBR textures.
FBX/textures the PNG textures of the FBX (relative paths, not embedded).
The GLB carries its textures inside the file.
OBJ/Machines/Electric_Walkie_Stacker_2.9_m.obj with MTL and OBJ/textures: static mesh in rest pose, no rig.
README.txt, BEDIENUNG.txt (German instructions), LICENSE.txt, manifest.json
This download also exists as four separate archives (Blender, FBX, GLB, OBJ) that share the
root folder electric-walkie-stacker-rigged; unpack the ones you need into the same place.
FOUR CONTROLS
Select Walkie Stacker_RIG, enter Pose Mode, select CTRL_ROOT and open
N sidebar > Item > Properties. Every control has a tooltip.
drive_m straight travel along local X in metres (-5 to +5); wheels and rollers turn.
steer_deg steering angle of drive wheel and tiller, -90 to +90 degrees.
lift_m fork lift from 0 to 2.9 m; the inner mast extends at half speed and the
chain links follow.
handle_deg tiller angle towards the operator, 0 to 70 degrees, 0 = upright (parking position).
Move and rotate CTRL_ROOT to place the stacker. Do not scale mechanism bones.
Keyframe the controls like any property. drive_m rolls the wheels; for a curved path,
animate CTRL_ROOT and coordinate drive_m. No add-on or startup script needed.
SIZE AND GEOMETRY
2.04 m long, 0.81 m wide, 2.15 m high with the forks lowered and the tiller upright.
38,858 triangles in 299 parts: 17 main parts and 282 individual chain links
(the same in the .blend and in all three exports).
MATERIALS AND EXPORTS
The .blend uses 18 node materials. Yellow paint, grey frame and grey forks are procedural
with noise and edge wear; wheels, rubber, plastics, steel, chain, lamps and switches are
plain materials. Edge wear uses Bevel and Ambient Occlusion nodes; Cycles shows it fully,
EEVEE ignores the Bevel part.
FBX and GLB: the procedural materials are baked into one PBR texture set of 2048 px
(Base Color, Normal in OpenGL convention, ORM; FBX also separate Roughness and Metallic).
Plain materials stay as material values without textures. Ambient occlusion is not baked.
FBX and GLB contain one rigid mesh group per moving bone (each chain link follows its own
bone) under the armature "Walkie Stacker Rig" (293 bones). The slider rig with drivers
exists only in the .blend.
The GLB passes the Khronos glTF Validator with 0 errors and 0 warnings.
OBJ: the same baked textures as the FBX, referenced in the MTL file (map_Kd base colour,
normal map, map_Pr roughness and map_Pm metallic as PBR extension). OBJ has no bones or
animation, so the stacker is a static mesh there.
SCOPE
No LODs, collision meshes, game logic or physics. Controls describe this visual rig, not a
certified machine or load rating. Brand-free: no manufacturer logos, names or type plates.
PROVENANCE
Geometry, rig and materials were created procedurally in Blender with Python scripts
written with AI assistance (Claude) under LOVIZ's direction and review, then reworked and
checked part by part. All product images are actual Blender renders of the delivered file.
No third-party models or textures are included.
