A pack of modular, historically accurate medieval swords containing 73 unique meshes (plus the six prefab swords).
This can create over 450,000 unique combinations. The blades follow Oakeshott's Typology for historical accuracy, and feature various lengths, fuller type, and blade shape/type. Hilts come in three lengths, one handed, hand and a half (a.k.a. bastard sword), and two handed. Each piece has 3 materials, default, bloody, and rusty.
The pack contains:
- 22 Blades
- 21 Crossguards
- 22 Hilts (10 unique meshes, with various styles baked into the textures)
- 20 Pommels
- 6 Prefab Swords
- 3 Material Types
- 1 Image with all components pictured and labelled in 4k
Textures are 2k PBR materials for high quality details. Materials include three types, Default (new shiny metal), Bloody, and Rusty. Each component is individually UV unwrapped and textured for true modularity. The meshes in the .blend file each have the variety of materials for each piece applied in material slots.
Meshes are low poly, with surface details baked into the textures for performance. The pack contains fbx, glb, and obj file types for versatility and customizability.
Blades: 36-232 tris
Crossguards: 54-396 tris
Hilts: 64-300 tris
