This simulation and objects have been originally created for X-Plane 12, posted as freeware for the X-Plane community. Blender assets are distributed under MIT general licence for royalty free use via Superhive. The livery is that of selected historical users.
The project was undertaken as a modeled aircraft such that the Blender created models would be suitable for 3D printing directly as well. A static 3 D printable set of files are available for sale on Superhive (formerly Blender Market) as well as on my Patreon page where they will be available at no additional charge to paid supporting subscribers to my Patreon. Please consider subscribing and supporting my work at Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/medmatix where I discuss my work and related topics of possible interest to my followers including projects on Blender, Krita and Godot, STEM modeling and simulation topics as well as X-Plane aircraft and scenery development. Modeling and animations were created from scratch by me with Blender, and paints and textures were created or modified with Krita.
The MiG-15 is a built by Mikoyan-Gurevich design bureau with variations like the Polish Lim-2 under license. It entered the Korean war early on and initially faced only the American propeller fighters and unswept wing jets until the Sabre jet could be rushed into action to match it's performance. The two similar designs battled for supremacy over the notorious MiG Alley along the Yalu River marking the DPRK and China border.
Custom Controls and Operations:
3D modeling of cockpit equipment is still in development though a 2d control panel and a 3D cockpit itself is available on request. The cockpit is still in development of the instrumentation and controls but was not included as I assumed it usually not of interest as a part of assets.
Of possible interest is copy of a Pilot Operation Manual which can be bought at (https://www.flight-manuals-online.com/
