    Works great & thank you, it makes mirroring much easier.

    my suggestions is
    1. Toggle Clipping (ON/OFF) for mirror modifier on header before choosing the axis.
    2. Using 3D cursor for mirroring (it create & hide empty object in background on 3D cursor used as the mirror object).
    for the empty the transforms could be 2 option, 1. follow 3D cursor rotation 2. Global.
