Yes. You can run the simulation on animated characters using armatures, as an example. You can also bake the simulation for high-poly meshes with high-resolution cloth effects.
Can I use this like Marvelous Designer?
It has many of the features of Marvelous designer but It's designed around Blender workflows.
Does this use Blender's cloth simulation or cloth sim node?
No. This is built from scratch using python and C++
