Parallax, Sdf Materials
A Collection of Cities, Clouds, Fire, Lava, Cheese, Stars and Mountains / Hill shaders created using Parallax / SDF Raymarching for 3D Large scale to infinite Backgrounds or Backdrops or Abstract or Realistic shader renders, at a low resource cost and produces high quality results. Created for Low or High end PCs and compatible at low or high Samples with CYCLES and EEVEE.
WHAT IS THE Parallax / SDF SHADER PACK?
The shader pack contains nine highly customizable shaders for your Stills Or Animations. Feel free to customize for a variety of projects or ideas.
WHAT ARE SDFs?
A Signed Distance Function (SDF) is a tool used to represent or describe shapes in 3D space. A value is assigned to every point in space based on its distance to the closest surface boundary of the shape. Where positive values are outside the shape and negative values found within. The magnitude of these points indicate their proximity to the nearest surface boundaries.
Now applying this in blender's powerful shader node editor, we created the Parallax / SDF Shaders to assist you to create:
- Fire
- Clouds
- Lava
- Cubes
- 2D and 3D Stars / Sparkles
- Cheese
- Mountains
- Cities
