Quad .50 Cal Machine Gun Turret | Blender Version is a high-quality heavy machine gun turret asset designed around a No Keyframe Workflow philosophy.
To better match the procedural asset workflows commonly used in modern game engines and to improve usability, all mechanical animations and visual effects in this asset are fully driven by Python-based driver scripts. This eliminates the need for traditional keyframe-by-keyframe animation, significantly improving production efficiency and controllability. It is especially suitable for showcasing, demonstrating, and extending complex mechanical structures.
In addition to the three primary controllers — Target Controller, Fire Controller, and Barrel Overheat Controller — all other mechanical motions and visual effects are automatically driven, forming a truly parameterized weapon system.

Core Driver System Overview
--------------------------------------------------
1. Target Controller
The Target Controller is responsible for the turret’s overall aiming and mechanical linkage behavior, including:
1.1 Turret pitch and horizontal rotation control
1.2 Bone-driven animation of the operator handles
1.3 Synchronized mechanical motion of the drive gears
By adjusting target parameters, the entire mechanical linkage can be controlled without any manual keyframe animation.
2. Fire Controller
The Fire Controller uses a two-state logic: Fire and Cease Fire.
When switched to the Fire state, the following effects are automatically triggered:
2.1 Sequential firing logic across four machine guns
2.2 Barrel recoil motion
2.3 Ammunition belt feeding
2.4 Ammunition belt vibration
2.5 Bolt recoil animation
2.6 Sight shake effect
2.7 Muzzle flash animation
2.8 Bullet firing effects
2.9 Shell ejection animation
All firing-related animations and visual effects are fully script-driven with no keyframes required.
3. Barrel Overheat Controller
The Barrel Overheat Controller visually represents heat accumulation during sustained firing, including:
3.1 Linear material transition from normal state to overheated red-hot appearance
3.2 Clear visual feedback for sustained heavy machine gun firing
This system is entirely parameter-driven and requires no keyframe animation.
