Metal Pack - Physically Based
Most node setups looks similar to the one below:
Key differences in setup apply to Brass and Bronze, which uses additional color ramps.
Brass
-
Physically-Based Color Ramp:
Brass includes a physically-based color ramp that is already connected to the Principled BSDF shader. -
Additional Color Ramps:
- Two additional color ramps correspond to the components of Brass: Copper and Zinc.
- These ramps are combined using a Darken Mix RGB node, allowing you to experiment with alternative appearances.
- Recommendation: For the most accurate results, use the default color ramp that is already connected, as it is fully physically based.
Bronze
-
Approximate Method:
- Two color ramps, representing the primary components of Bronze (Copper and Tin), are mixed to generate an approximate color value.
- Recommendation: Adjust the mixed color ramps as needed to achieve the desired appearance.
