It's simple! Just select one of the included effects closest to your needs, duplicated it, and create a "Single User Copy" of the material. Rename it whatever you like and then start changing properties! You can easily chain multiple generator and shader nodes together to create more complicated effects. See the "Advanced Plasma Bolt" and "Advanced Plasma Blade" effects for inspiration.

Yes! All the effects are compatible with both EEVEE and Cycles.

Yes! All effects have adjustable noise animation that will automatically adjust for your animation's frame rate without any keyframing needed. A unique "Drive by Scene Time" node is also included if you want to drive other properties with this method. You can also use traditional keyframing to produce your own animations.
