  reinstalled a system, and, thereforу blender too. Got my addons back, but not the prefs. Shortcuts won't work =(

  Restoring addons is just the addon files, you have to restore prefs if you want the prefs (both Blender prefs and addon prefs).
  The shortcuts don't work unfortunately yeah; it was too ambitious and I never managed to fix it.
  If you have a lot of custom shortcuts I recommend using Blender's own save/load keymap for that.

  In the sea of various add-ons, this is definitely one of the best. If you have a lot of add-ons and personal settings, this add-on will undoubtedly be of tremendous help to you when installing a new version of Blender.

  Like all of Bonjorno's tools, this one makes things so much easier than ordinary methods. In this case, it lets you experient with different pref settings, or troubleshoot your configs, or just clean up your Blender configs, then revert to saved backup in a cinch.

  The Blender Foundation comes out with new releases quite often, and this backup has become absolutely essential to me. And not only do I use it to backup and restore prefs for my main desktop PC, but I also take that info and use it for my laptop too.

  You think you don't need it, but you do :) makes moving to new blender versions, and backing up all those plugins so easy. Best $10 you'll spend.
