Procedural Boids
Overview
Procedural Boids is a Geometry Nodes based flocking system for Blender. It is built to generate controllable agent motion that feels organic while remaining easy to direct. The setup is suited for natural swarms, abstract simulations, and cinematic environmental effects.
Core Purpose
The tool simulates group behavior by combining movement rules that control how each boid reacts to nearby agents and scene influences. This makes it possible to create formations that feel alive instead of random.
The system was stress-tested up to 100k Boids without problems ( RTX 3070 ); however, the result depends on the PC's performance.
