  A diamond in the rough. There is no one solution for floor plans. Diffuse Studio has got some magic here and many of the issues users are facing myself included are being addressed. Join the discord and ask some questions if your stuck. Overall I like this addon this will only get better as they move from 1.0 forward.

  I've been wanting to try this add-on for a while, and it didn't disappoint!
  It makes it easy to create a floor plan from a blueprint, and you can keep refining and editing it manually afterward.

  I true appriciate every single incredibly developed, high quality prodcuts from Diffuse Studio. I trust them, their prodcuts are always clean, professionally developed, with clear and concise video tutorials. Procedural Interiors is another top notch addtiion--this is the best archticehturial add-on on the market, that comes with assets! (NO Way) I have always wanted a Sketchup style floorplan creation add-on in Blender. One tiny ask is that the team add preinstalled floorplans (base floorplan images) to get started out the gate to help novices unfamiliar with real world floorplan scaling and reference images. Overall incredible product that comes with furniture assets. You CAN'T beat that!

  I've done a lot of work with interior design for clients, and wanted to try this out, and now my poor family, who know absolutely nothing about 3D, have had to listen to me gush over it, and have been bombarded with screen shots, and "Guess how long THIS test scene took to make?"

  I have noticed a few things that aren't quite there, like:
  If doors are placed too close to a corner, the wall above that spot disappears.
  Normals may need to be flipped on doors, door frames, and windows.
  If the room is a little narrow, so autofill objects may need to be moved.
  At the tops of the walls, sometimes there are unnecessary verts.
  For straight walls (Unless I've missed how to constrain movement to a particular axis, which the default control doesn't seem to work here), you may need to go into edit mode, make a selection, and scale on the desired axis, but that can be done in edit mode, while still using the addon, with no negative effects that I've seen so far, regarding scaling issues.
  The stairs are a bit odd for placement, and controlling dimensions.

  That being said, none of that takes more than a few seconds to fix. I haven't noticed any kind of face overlap, shadows in cycles from bad topology, it's flexible, the materials and assets are solid and work well in both cycles, and eevee.

  Seriously, with the ability to toggle on references, various measurement tools, and quickly edit everything, from the addon's panel, which is a LOT more intuitive than other tools I've used, without needing to manually go into edit mode, move vertices around, then spending time to see if I broke something, I'm absolutely going to save countless hours.

  This is a good addon, has potential to be great, but its still in its early stages. there are some features lacking, like deleting a wall, or wall sections, better documentation. i wish there was a way to contact the developers.

  There are a lot of minor issues, I wouldn't recommend it for professional use. Great potential, but the reality is much more complicated than what's shown in the tutorials, especially in terms of modularity.

  Also, Superhive Market didn't refund me, even though I followed all the steps they asked me to. (6m ago)
