Procedural X-Mas lights Add-on for #Blender this is a simple tool for creating procedural christmas light's placement, 

the addon has easy N-Panel setting parameter that will allow you to tweak settings to your holiday scene.

For best results add Bezier curve, generate lights, enter edit mode select all and delete vertices, 

then draw in lights on desired surface or position.

Tip: (when generated the original light instance is visible in viewport, 

you should hide instance then proceed to tweaking) In addition you can change in shader mode.
