PRR Passenger Car Circa 1860 - BLENDER

A Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) passenger car from around 1860-1880 was a heavy wooden coach.
They had "clerestory" roof,  thatis a roof that is raised with windows that can act as vents and let in light.

The exterior of the car was constructed of poplar and painted Tuscan Red. The car was built from wood, but for the iron truss rods underneath, Painted in Tuscan Red with yellow or Gold lettering and trim.

The seats were of the reversible "walkover" type that allowed the seat backs to be reversed.
Heat was provided by a coal stove at the end of each car.
They often had oil lamps hanging for night illumination.
