  Awesome plugin! I'm having trouble trying to get glue constraints to work on a crumbling text animation. Other than that so far its been really cool to play with. @Florida Stangl try changing max chunk number before fracturing to different values

  For something like destroying a text, the Acetone + kinematic tool is much better!

  After playing with the addon dor a few hours I'm impressed with how well it's working. The interface is logical and it doesn't take long to get nice results.
  Only downside for me is that with round objects like a vase you get gaps between some of the fragments. I have found a way to tweak the settings so these gaps don't show.
  Maybe the author knows a solution?

  This addon is just an revision of several other kinds of, already available, addons for destruction simulation. BUT, it goes a few, important, steps further in terms of overall ease of use AND it, I believe, tries to include what made FlipFluids ALSO great. Additional particle simulations for effect. In this case for dust and smoke. IF this addon CAN develop THIS side of the destruction simulation(the only things that makes houdini simulation look great are the amount of additional particles, which is mostly just rig dependant, to simulate this) it will be FlipFluids for destruction simulation. Together with a way, maybe, to lower lower the "glue" values of shattered objects to a predetermined path(over time)(a suggestion) it would be as invaluable FF and we would need to raise the level of stars waaaay over 5. Like it would be fair for these kinds of things. The final verdict lies in its future.

  For 6 months I kindly asked them to a tutorial or to update the documentation because they changed the interface.They only care about MattPlus. If customers are begging for a tutorial that tells everything you need to know. I would have given it 5 starts, but no one cares about custom support.

  I really would like to rate this product 5 stars, as I can see at its core, it's a robust and deep damage simulation system. It looks very, very awesome. However, with poor Instructions, Mute tutorials, and no narrative instructions, I am left in confusion and frustration, often finding speed tutorials online with no clear and concise path, or Chat GPT giving outdated instructions from their UI from 2023. Chat GPT apologized for the lack of tutorials available via web scrub, and recommended I use Blender 5.0's own Cell Fracture add-on. I did that and achieved the results I was looking for, just perfectly fine. Hopefully, they will update tutorials; if not, (and I say this with all due respect) that I'm perfectly fine using Cell Fracture. (I just wish I hadn't wasted the money first)

  When it works it is absolutley wonderful - however I came across a bug that corrupts my files that is known to the team but not solved yet. This lead to a few projects becoming unusuable and a lot time lost to bug fixing which leaves me rarely using the addon, it is just too high risk to corrupt my Blender file - which is a shame, because there is no competition to this product. Once that is solved, it is a solid 6/5 stars.

  In terms of features, it’s a nice addition to Blender. Of course, it doesn’t replace something like Houdini. BUT: This add-on does not work with the latest Blender version in combination with the latest RBD Lab version. I always get a Python error when I click on "Fracture". This has been the case for weeks, and unfortunately, the developers aren’t doing anything about it. Since then, I’ve had to keep using older Blender versions, like 3.5, along with the older version of RBD Lab, as only those are compatible with Blender 3.0+. It’s a shame that these bugs never get fixed. Honestly, I would buy more of their plugins...

  non existant documentation (the documentation link they provide just shows how to install the addon), broken links, non existant youtube channel (it gives error 404) absolutely horrible support and documentation for a complex addon especially when the slogan is "be a blende professional"

  I downloaded and tested 1.1, and I can split with particles and annotate, but I can't do dynamics because there is no RBDphysic panel like in the video. I had high hopes for this, but I am very disappointed.

  If you have any problem with the addon, go to our discord channel or our contact mail to solve it. Give a negative mark of 1 star because you had a bug... doesn't seem very kind to me. :(
