Reblend (macOS) brings Blender the light it has always struggled with: sharp caustics from glass, water and polished metal, and clean interiors lit by a window, a shaded lamp or a gap in the curtains. It's the Blender 5.2.2 you know, with a rebuilt Cycles underneath.
What you get
• Caustics that actually render. The bright, focused light that glass and water throw onto a table or floor comes out clean, instead of as noise you end up switching off.

• Caustics through glass and water. The bottom of a pool seen through the water, light gathering inside a glass: scenes stock Cycles can't resolve.

• Faster clean interiors on your GPU. Reblend learns where the light in a room comes from and sends its effort there. In a dark room lit through a window it reached the same quality in about half the time.

• A Caustics pass, so you can grade caustics on their own in the compositor.
Everything else stays the same. Your addons, materials and .blend files work exactly as in Blender 5.2.2, in both directions.
Membership
Reblend is a living experiment, and memberships keep it going. You get every new build as soon as it's ready, for as long as you're a member. Expect some rough edges: your feedback and your scenes decide what gets fixed and built next.
Requirements
• A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later). Intel Macs, Windows and Linux aren't supported yet.
• macOS 15 or newer to render on your GPU.
• The first GPU render after installing a new build can take a while while your Mac prepares the renderer. After that, renders start right away.
