  Great tool, i have one issue which is the seams arent connected once u done retopo. I get that issue once i start rigging clothes and the mesh is not connected on the seam areas. Might need to do some manual adjusting like merging vertices together once done. Or It be could user error and im not sure how to do it. Would love feedback on that!

  Thanks;) Well it sounds like garment was exported from Marvelous/Clo with patterns "unwelded". Retopo Planes needs to have "welded" patterns from MD to know how they are connected and be able to display it's full power (autodensity, autofill), unless of course you only need seperate parts retopologized.   Doesn't work particularly well except with really simple designs and topology. You're probably better off just using something like retopoflow

  Excellent, this has uncomplicated retopology from MD and made my life a lot easier. There are a couple of quirks that pop up every now and then but overall I am very happy with this add-on.

  I would highly recommend it for anybody who wants to make their garments more animation-friendly.

  Even after watching several tutorials of this tool, it remains frustrating to work with and has never helped me with complex garments. It only seems to work well with simple and basic designs. The tool hasn't received any significant updates in a while.
  While it's a promising addon, I can't recommend it at this time. Perhaps if a major update is released in the future, it might be worth reconsidering. For now, however, for now it's
  wont fit for anyone.

  Hey, update 1.5 is now out with new features like Initialize Planes to kick off retopo right away, plus Auto Fill that creates cuts on all connected patterns and some other quality of life improvements. This tools still takes some getting used to, I believe this newest iteration should make the overall experience better also for advanced designs. On the topic of update releases however, for subject this complex, it unfortunately takes some time with proper r&d, implementation and testing - but I'm not making excuses;)

  Looks great, but only sadly works for Marvelous Designer and not for Clo3D even though it's the same idea

  Hey! It does work;) I just double checked. In general, if the mesh has UVs this tool will work.

  Perhaps you exported a mesh from CLO without UVs - there's a checkbox for that in export settings. Other reason could be that the imported mesh has a different UV map name. Here's explanation regarding it https://nodesinteractive.com/retopo-planes-3dtopatterns/

  This is one of the best addons I've bought on Blender Market. It is super straight forward and works amazingly well. I'm actually blown away by how fast I was able to retopo a custom garment. Amazing!
