A Blender add-on that generates procedural chains
you can pose and animate
This add-on generates chains with control handles. These chain controls allow you to freely position, tilt and animate chains while never leaving object mode. You can also modify the appearance of your chains with a large set of parameters. Additionally the add-on is bundled with 75+ high quality chain assets.
Create chains with Draw Chain. When you're finished drawing, chain controls will be attached to the chain.
Add or remove chain controls as needed.
Connect two objects with a chain using the Connecting Chain command.
Connected chains are automatically tethered to the objects at both ends.
Create mesh snapshots from chains with Extract Mesh.
Animate chains with chain controls.

Chain Crafter features a side panel in the 3D-viewport that contains all functions arranged in categories.
Keyboard mappings for key functions are already predefined and a complete list of shortcuts is available in the add-on's preferences.
All included assets are organized in catalogues in your Asset Browser.
Compatible with Blender 4.4 animation slots.
