    This addon is amazing ! There is so many options, and it really help with the rendering and texturing process. The only trouble that I had, was running this addon on eevee.

      Just in case, despite we wish to, and we are trying, SW for now, is not meant to work on Eevee (Next) or look/dev natively. It works just with Cycles.

      Eevee is meant to be a lighter render engine, and heavy realistic setups are not optimized for this case.

      This is a limitation of the Eevee engine itself (not only with our node group, but with any heavy setup) and needs to be fixed by the core Blender developers. We mention this in different places (like in the product details, in the product description, important notes, and our FAQ).

      You can still use the effects in Eevee (or export them to game engines like Godot or UE, or other 3D programs) if you do a PBR bake. Many different add-on bakers are compatible with SW, and users have commented that they use this workflow for their needs.

    Mindblowingly incredible results! It's also fairly easy to use, and works perfectly for me with SimpleBake and later on exporting to UE5 for my game projects.
    On top of that, it's non-destructive, very customisable, it has very extensive documentation (be it in written form or in the form of short YT videos if you prefer that) and engaging devs.
    Don't be like me and waste your time with other similar Blender addons and then get frustrated over devs not responding, just get this one, it's a fantastic investment that'll save you time and money in the long run.

    There are a few addons here that add weathering to your objects. A lot of them look great and are very customizable. The good thing about this addon is that the effects not only look good and are very customizable, it's also just very easy and pleasant to use, which isn't always the case with other Blender addons.

    It's just one big node setup you can add to your Shader with the click of a button, and start playing with the nice looking effects. Highly recommend this one!

    Very good results, great variety of options and still easy to use.
    For future updates I would like to have the option for different colours for "dirt"-"dripping color" top and bottom and not just one colour for both. Apart from that very complete weathering/wear tool

    So easy to use. Variation is such a massive part of what 3D artist do. This add on solves that brilliantly. Great service that is very responsive also. A 100% recommend.

    I bought Smart Weathering thinking, ya, just another add-on I'll try once or twice. These guys really did their homework and put together a easy to use add-on. I DL'd 3.1.0 and was using it on Blender 4.2 and Blender kept crashing. I emailed their support and within a day got a reply saying that 3.1.0 was designed for Blender 4.3. So I guess it was time to upgrade Blender. I had a few other questions that they responded to within 24 hrs.
    $35 was on the high end for an add-on, but it works ( you just gotta DL the correct version for ur version of Blender) 3.0 works on Blender 4.2. No more messing around trying to make grunge masks.

    Great Addon, So I watched the tutorial on YouTube on baking using Simple Bake Addon and tried it out. But the latest version of Simple Bake 1.6.8 would crash after the Diffuse Texture was baked and I tried several times with slightly different settings, So I tried Quick Baker Addon version 2.6.0 and "Oven" baking Addon version 2.2.0 and they both worked great, I could bake out all 4k maps with no problems.
