No. Snapshots live inside your scene file. They capture how your current scene looks so you can explore different directions, compare, and pick the best one.

Lights, camera, world/HDRI, materials, object transforms and visibility, collection visibility, and render settings. Everything that affects how your scene looks — not the geometry itself.

Snapshot never modifies your mesh data. It saves and restores the look built on top of your geometry. That said, it's in beta — always keep backups and don't use it on production files yet.
