Launch the Space Race with this massive collection of Modular Rockets!
Inspired by the earliest days of rocketry that led to the launch of the space race, this collection contains a number of history-inspired rockets from the 1930s and 1940s. In addition, the many modular pieces allow you to create an endless variety of 1930s-1960s Pulp or Retro Sci-Fi styled rockets. You can even build large, multi-stage, orbital rockets.
Historic Rockets Include:
* Congreve Rockets (British 19th Century Rockets)
* A1 / A2 / A3 / A5 Rockets (German Pre-war Rockets)
* GIRD-7, GIRD-9 and GIRD-X Rockets (Russian Pre-war Rockets)
* A4 Rocket - More popularly known as the World War Two/WW2 V-2 Rocket / V2 Rocket.
* A4 or V2 Bumper Rockets - A Post-War American two-stage adaptation of the V2 Rocket
* A9 Rocket
* Sounding Rockets
* Ancient Fire-Arrow Rockets
There are also fictional Rocket types included.
Additional Features:
* The vast majority of the rockets & modular pieces have multiple materials & paint schemes to choose from.
* Highly modular: Endless options to build your own rockets. At the same time, historical rockets can be built with just one or two pieces. Kitbash new rockets.
* Modular pieces include wings, payload fairings, boosters, adapters & experimental probes.
* Includes a small selection of ground support elements including a V-2 Rocket Launch Table, deflector pad and maintenance equipment.
The asset also includes a Unity Package version. There are over 160 Pre-Built Rocket Prefabs included. The A-5 Rocket & GIRD-9 have not yet been ported to the Unity Version.
Technical Notes:
* Pieces have 2048x2048 PBR textures, all correctly attached in organized materials. Texture format is: 01 - Diffuse/Albedo, 02 - Metallic/Smoothness 03 - NormalMap 04 - Ambient Occlusion (optional, not attached by default)
*All UVs are manually unwrapped to attempt to take Maximum advantage of texture areas.
* Polygon Count is relatively low-poly "Game Ready" as these objects were designed with game engine usage in mind.
* Files are in Eevee by default by look great in Cycles too.
