  very nice clean view, but there is no interaction with other objects in blender. it was mentioned in documentation that i read after buying. :
  " Because the Gaussian splats are not part of Blender’s rendering system but live in OpenGL/Vulkan/GLSL, the objects cannot interact with scene lighting
  A solution to this is in the works
  that makes it kind of usless...

  very performant, clean rendering, not editable

  comparing this to other gaussian splat renderers in blender, it has an amazing performance, and the rendered image is super clean! very nice! you do not have the hashing or z-sorting issues that other plugins have.

  but a considerable downside is that there is no way to edit the splats. other plugins import the gaussians as a mesh with vertex points, which allows to delete, modify, move them, and even use geometry nodes on them. this plugin does not allow you to edit them at all, they are just an empty object inside blender.

  decent addon, annoying af to render & get proper layers if you are planning to denoise in the comp still dont know why we need 5 buttons in 2026 to render, everyone does exr multi-layer by now bruh going to try blendsplat hope i have better luck over there
