Stylized Aquarium with Goldfish

Does your apartment feel a bit empty or lifeless?
You would like to have a pet, but don’t have much time, work a lot, or are not home regularly? How about a small aquarium with a goldfish – low maintenance and calming to look at.

The assets offered here are part of my personal work and would otherwise remain unused on my hard drive – so why not share them with you?

Product Description

With this product you receive a stylized aquarium consisting of:
Spherical glass aquarium
Water
Sand ground
Goldfish (2 instances, one is a duplicate)
2 plants
1 coral

The plants are created using planes and are not fully modeled.

Materials & Textures

The materials are based on a simple Principled Shader using color maps only.

Included textures:
Fish: Color map – 2048 × 2048 px
Plants: Color maps – approx. 700 × 700 px

No roughness or normal maps are required.
The plants use alpha transparency from the included PNG textures.

UVs

Fish, plants, and glass were carefully UV-unwrapped and show no significant distortion.

Polycount

Fish: 1,012 vertices, 992 faces (SDS-ready)
Glass: 1,152 vertices, 1,089 faces (using Solidify and Bevel)
Water: 1,024 vertices, 962 faces
Ground: 256 vertices, 194 faces
Plants: 18 vertices, 8 faces

Rendering

Preview renders were created using Cycles.
For color management, AgX with an exposure of 2.6 and low contrast was used.

Basic knowledge of image post-processing is required.
It is recommended to further enhance the render result in an image editing program or adjust contrast directly in the renderer.
