Stylized Roman Garden Foliage Kit
Which render engines are supported?
All assets can be rendered in both EEVEE and Cycles render engines.
How do I use and adjust the foliage wind animation?
Wind is disabled by default. Select a foliage model, click the Modifier tab, enable the viewport and render toggles on the Geometry Nodes modifier, then raise Wind Power above 0. Wind Power controls how much the plant moves, while Wind Speed controls how quickly the movement changes.
If you add multiple plants to your scene, you can use the Wind Control empty to keep the wind direction consistent for all assets in your scene. Just add the empty to your scene and add it into the "Wind Controller" section of the Geometry Nodes modifier.
Do the FBX and OBJ files include the wind setup?
No. The FBX and OBJ files contain the static models. The optional Simple Grass Wind setup is Blender-specific and remains in the Blender version of the assets. However, all assets do come with vertex paint wind information that can be used to set up wind animation in other programs, like game engines.
What is the difference between the downloads and Remote Asset Library access?
The traditional downloads include the .blend, .fbx, and .obj files plus all three texture resolutions (1k, 2k, and 4k). In Blender 5.2 or later, the Remote Asset Library provides account-linked access to 35 Asset Browser entries: 34 foliage models and the optional Wind Control object, all with 2k textures.
