After purchasing, you will receive a zip file. That is the addon, please do not unzip it. You can install it by just dragging and dropping the zip file in to Blender and pression "OK". 

A short video is also available in your downloads. It explains how to install the addon, how to generate ball rigs, as well as the main controls of the generated rig.
